What we collect, and why
We collect personal data only when you choose to give it to us. We do not collect it passively, and we do not buy it from anyone else.
When you ask us to call you about your home (the enquiry form, “For my home”), we collect your name, mobile number and city. You may also tell us what bothers you about your balcony: rain, wind, dust, noise or privacy.
When you send a project enquiry (the enquiry form, “For a project”), we collect your name, mobile number, city, work email and company, and, if you give them, the balcony length in running metres and your role: architect, developer, interior designer or contractor.
When you unlock the technical downloads on the For professionals page, we collect your work email and, if you give it, your role. The files open in your browser. We do not send them by email.
When you use the balcony configurator, the design you build (length, panels, windbreak, glass, frame colour and top glass) is held in your own browser. It reaches us only if you send it with an enquiry.
With each form we also record the date and time you gave your consent and the type of browser you used, as a record of the submission.
When you contact us on WhatsApp, by phone or by email, we receive what you send us. Those messages are handled by the service you choose to use.
The purpose in every case is the same: to respond to you about SlideGlass® balcony enclosure systems, to prepare a quotation or specification, and to keep a record of that correspondence. We do not use your data for any other purpose without asking you first.
Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form. Providing the data is voluntary. If you do not provide it, we will not be able to respond to your enquiry.
Who has access
Your data is stored on infrastructure operated by Cloudflare, Inc., and enquiry notifications are sent to us by email through Resend, Inc. Both are processors acting on our instructions. Data may be stored or processed outside India on their infrastructure.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
We may share your enquiry with Febatec GmbH (Thun, Switzerland), the manufacturer of SlideGlass®, where doing so is necessary to answer a technical question or prepare a quotation for you.
We may disclose data where we are required to by law.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are retained for three years from the date of your last contact with us, after which they are deleted. If you ask us to erase your data sooner, we will do so unless we are required to retain it by law.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may ask us to confirm what personal data of yours we hold and how it has been processed; correct or complete inaccurate or incomplete data; erase your data; nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity; and withdraw your consent at any time.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it.

We will acknowledge your grievance and respond within the period required under the DPDP Act. If you remain dissatisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect the personal data of anyone under 18.
Security
We hold your data on access-controlled infrastructure and restrict administrative access to authorised personnel. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
